At Haus of Naya, Reiki is offered as a gentle pathway to restoration, helping create the conditions for relaxation, emotional healing, nervous system regulation and deeper connection to self.
What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle practice that supports the body’s natural ability to heal, restore balance and regulate itself.
Through light touch or hands placed just above the body, Reiki works with the energetic and emotional systems of the body to promote relaxation, reduce stress and encourage overall wellbeing.
Many clients describe Reiki as deeply calming, grounding, and restorative. Others experience emotional release, increased clarity, a sense of lightness, or a deeper connection to themselves.
While every experience is unique, Reiki creates space for the body and mind to slow down, soften and receive.
How Reiki Supports Healing
When we experience stress, loss, trauma, relationship challenges, addiction, burnout, or emotional pain, the nervous system can remain in a prolonged state of activation.
Reiki supports healing by encouraging a state of deep relaxation where the body can shift out of survival mode and into restoration.
While Reiki is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions, many people find it to be a valuable complement to therapy, recovery work, meditation, and other healing practices.
The result is often a greater sense of calm, balance, emotional resilience, and inner peace.
In-Person and Virtual Reiki
In-Person Reiki
Sessions are offered through gentle touch or hands placed just above the body.
Many clients enjoy the grounding nature of being physically present and often notice sensations such as warmth, relaxation, emotional release, or a feeling of being deeply supported.
Virtual Reiki
Reiki can also be received remotely from the comfort of your own home.
Distance Reiki works with intention and energetic connection rather than physical contact. Clients frequently report feeling deeply relaxed, emotionally moved, grounded, or supported during virtual sessions.
Both formats offer meaningful opportunities for healing, and many clients find virtual sessions to be just as impactful as in-person experiences.

What to Expect
Sessions begin with a conversation about your intentions and what support feels most needed.
You will then be invited to relax comfortably while Reiki is offered through gentle touch or hands placed near the body. Most clients experience a deep sense of rest and relaxation during this portion of the session.
The session concludes with grounding, reflection, and space to discuss any insights or observations that arose during the experience.
No prior experience is necessary.

Reiki is a nonsectarian, heart-centered healing practice focused on balancing energy and supporting well‑being. It is not a religion and can be adapted to any belief system—spiritual, secular, or religious. Clients’ values and intentions are always honored, so you can receive Reiki in a way that feels safe, respectful, and aligned with your beliefs.

No—Reiki is done fully clothed. Hands may be placed lightly on or just above the body; touch is gentle and optional. You can always request no touch or specific boundaries— your comfort and consent are always respected.

Reiki is noninvasive and generally safe. Temporary effects can include deep relaxation, emotional release, tiredness, or subtle shifts in sensation.
